Our Story

Meet Dee

The guardians watch over my family ♡ Soft on calm days, sharp underneath. Every cat, a promise in a different sky.

— Dee

It began with one cat in a window, drawn for people who look out for others. That first image became the start of a growing collection of guardians, each one named and each one watching over someone.

1 · A thoughtful start

The idea was simple: make art that feels like a small reminder of care. A guardian might stand for a friend, a family member, or someone whose kindness makes life feel steadier. Every design begins with that connection: someone loved, someone kept close, someone worth looking out for.

2 · Finding our rhythm

As friends, family, and strangers asked for guardians of their own, a single drawing grew into a collection. The art moved onto mugs, prints, canvases, and more, finding its way into everyday spaces. However it appears, each piece carries the same thread from the first window cat: a little story about care, belonging, and looking after someone.

3 · Made with intention

Every piece is hand-drawn before it reaches a mug or a print. No stock art and no shortcuts: the art begins as a drawing and is shaped with the same intention that started the collection. The goal is simple: make each design feel personal, thoughtful, and at home wherever its story lands.

4 · Continuing forward

The windowsill is still growing, and the next chapter is open. If there is someone you would love to see drawn as a guardian, tell me about them. Your idea may inspire a future design and, one day, find a place among the stories on the sill. Thank you for being here and for caring about the people who care for you.
